The 8/1 Affliction main event of Fedor Emelianenko vs. Josh Barnett is off. Barnett's license to fight was not approved by the California State Athletic Commission. The CSAS has yet to issue a statement.

MMA PPV Cancelled

No official announcement has been made, but the fighters have been called to inform them that the 8/1 Affliction Trilogy PPV has been cancelled. Affliction had been scrambling to find a late minute replace to face Fedor Emelianenko.
