NEWSOctagon finally clarified the status of his gimmick to Apolo Valdes of Medio Tiempo yesterday and said that he made a deal with AAA to use the gimmick while he works as an independent contractor. Don’t be shocked if he isn’t back in AAA before the end of the year.
Last night in Tijuana, the former Horus who has been working as Hijo del Rey Misterio lately decided to give that gimmick up and wanted to be known now as Rey Horus. This took place after a special tribute ceremony for Rey Misterio Sr. & Fishman for their classic battle in Tijuana on 3/26/88. Rey Horus introduced a new Hijo de Rey Misterio, which would make him the third under that name.
