La Catedral which is one of the prominent lucha blogs in Mexico reported yesterday that Dr. Wagner III, Hijo del L.A. Par-K, & Bestia 666 were invited by the WWE to their tryouts for independents & AAA guys on Saturday at the behest of Rey Misterio Jr. who is close to their fathers of course. Zumbi who is a Brazilian wrestler that has prominently worked for DTU and other indies invited himself to the tryout also.
Also on that front Enrique Yniesta reported that all but one of the 7 EMLL guys who tried out on Sunday was offered a deal but there is no word if any were accepted or not.
Octagon gave his first public interview yesterday regarding his actions at Heroes Inmortales and said that he has officially joined La Sociedad because he & La Parka Jr. are tired of the horrible management by Joaquin Roldan and he wants changes. Octagon said that he is going to be the same person in the ring and outside the ring but he has to do what he has to do for AAA to survive and as long as Joaquin Roldan is in charge that will be in doubt. Octagon said that Antonio Pena would be ashamed of how his promotion has been handled since his death and that after Joaquin gets removed from power then he would return to the AAA army. La Parka Jr. is supposed to speak his mind on Friday at Arena Xalapa.
Meanwhile, Dorian Roldan was at TNA tapings this week and he had successful meetings with Jeff Jarrett and they are planning some big things for TNA & AAA with TNA taking over permanently. Well that should be great.
Fans that normally go to the EMLL shows in Guadalajara on Tuesdays and Sundays have been very upset at the promoters for a lack of any kind of tribute for Dr. X-Treme and there were rumblings that they would force one of their own on last night’s show.

2. Dragon Lee/Pegasso/Rey Cometa defeated Arkangel de la Muerte/Escandalo/Loco Max by DQ when the rudos ripped off the masks of all the tecnicos. The rudos did a tribute for Dr. X before the match.
3. CMLL International Jr. Reina Title: Silueta beat Ray to win the title.
4. Angel de Oro/Black Warrior/Delta defeated Misterioso II/Rey Escorpion/Vangelis by DQ when Escorpion ripped off Angel de Oro’s mask.
5. Brazo de Plata/Rush/La Sombra beat Averno/Dragon Rojo/Mr. Niebla
