NEWSIn the latest Super Luchas, they have interviews with Dorian Roldan about his proposed AAA/CMLL idea and he said that he would like both promotions to combine for a tour of Mexico. CMLL Directors Jose Luis Feliciano & Juan Manuel Mar aka Panico finally spoke out on the subject and said that such a partnership isn’t their decision to make but Paco Alonso’s and no one else’s. They both think that Dorian is going about this the wrong way through social media and he would definitely have to meet Paco face-to-face. They went on to blame the economy for the reason why the business is down everywhere and not just lucha libre and in their opinion, they have all the talent they need to turn their fortune around without help from AAA. This led to a discussion about Mistico of course where they said that the success of lucha libre isn’t dependent on one man but the Mistico name is important so they are thinking of having a tournament to determine the next Mistico. Panico said that they are planning of scouring all their affiliated dojos and classes to find the wrestlers that would fill out the tournament and that the winner would have to work his way up the card not main eventing on the spot. The new Mistico would also have to have a new finisher to distinguish himself from the original.
