Erick Casas aka Heavy Metal spent 7 hours in jail early Friday morning after being arrested for DUI where he blew a .45 in the breathalyzer. He was pulled over in Coyoacan in the early hours of Friday morning while driving his black Jeep Cherokee as he was weaving lanes looking suspicious to the police officer. Casas was sentenced to 30 hours in jail but he was released after 7 due to a protection order but he will have to serve the remaining 23 hours according to the police eventually.
Ultimo Guerrero gave a very candid interview with Impacto.mx yesterday where he criticized the powers that be in CMLL for putting guys in the main events that are not ready for that level because there are very guys at a high level right now for them to shine off of. UG said that the difference between them and the true stars are that the fans don’t recognize them as such so they don’t believe in them because they haven’t worked their way up the ladder over a period of time so the fans can follow their rise to the top. UG said that guys that get rushed right to the main events after being in the business for a couple of years turns the fans off because they see them as flash in the pans and it creates bad business for the promotion. UG said that there is some great young talent in the business that in time could be huge stars but pushing them too soon could stunt their growth leading to them burning out quicker than if they had a normal foundation of work. UG was asked who he considers the stars of the business and he named off Atlantis, Blue Panther, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero, Brazo de Plata, & Hijo del Santo as stars and said modestly that he is trying to still work his way up to their category. UG said that he has worked for years to make his name around the world gaining fame which was very difficult but has paid off for him although he knows that this has become quickly a young man’s business in the major promotions so his time could be coming up soon. UG said though that until that moment comes he will give it his all and hopefully will help make one of these young guys a star like he did with Mistico for over 5 years. UG said that they promotions really need to emphasize credibility in the wrestling so the fans can believe that these young guys can hold their own on the mat and not just guys that fly around all over the place mentioning that La Mascara & Volador Jr. have started to gain that credibility and in time once they get more training La Sombra, Mascara Dorada, & Rush they will be ready to be stars.

Caballera contra Caballera Loser Returns To Mini Division And Kisses Hand of Winner Plus Winner Becomes Leader of Los Cancerberos: Virus defeated Demus 3:16 in a really good match with fans throwing money in the ring afterwards. Demus shook hands with Virus and the rest of the Cancerberos afterwards then got his head shaved.
5. Atlantis/Dragon Rojo/Volador Jr. beat Rush/Toscano/Valiente
6. Brazo de Plata/Mascara Dorada/La Sombra defeated Averno/Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla with Dorada going over Averno to win.
