CMLL will continue to have the NWA champions (Hijo del Texano, Averno, & Mephisto) defend their titles but the NWA sent a cease and desist letter to them saying that they can't use the NWA name for the title matches.

4. Hector Garza/Shocker/Toscano defeated Taichi Ishikari/Shigeo Okumura/Rey Bucanero with Garza & Shocker not getting along.
5. Relevos Increibles: "Strongman" Jon Anderson/Volador Jr./Atlantis beat Mistico/Damian el Terrible/Hijo del Texano by DQ when Mistico ripped off Volador's mask. Mistico then challenged Volador to a shot at the Mexican Lt. Heavyweight Title next Sunday and Volador accepted.
