NEWSBrazo de Plata who has now lost 110 pounds thanks to Hector Garza said yesterday that Garza still is riding him way too hard in workout sessions and still frustrates him in matches where they team. Porky said that Garza is also helping out La Mascara, Mistico, Volador Jr., & Strongman in their fitness programs and he knows for certain that he treats them better than he does him. Porky now believes that Garza is getting jealous of him and he thinks that he may be worried that Porky may become more of a sex symbol than he is.
Garza had a retort saying that he rides Porky because he wants him to be in the best physical condition and the other guys he works with are basically already there so he has to be tougher with him. Garza then clarified that he is still a tecnico but has had some problems lately with some of his younger partners who don’t understand that being aligned with him makes them bigger stars and if they don’t watch out, they would be replaced by other guys.
EMLL Director Juan Manuel Mar (Panico) told Notimex yesterday that their doors are always open to independents only if they are quality wrestlers and are professionals who live up to the expectations they are given. Panico was asked in particular about the current invasion of Los Vipers & Alebrije and he said that they want to make a statement and he would give them the chance against some of EMLL’s finest to show that they belong in EMLL’s buildings. Panico was also asked about the Mistico/Volador Jr. feud and he said that it was never dead and he expects their rivalry to continue for a long time because they are highly competitive and a mask match could be in the cards.
Vampiro stated on AAA’s website today that even though he is aligned with Dorian Roldan, he is by no means a member of La Legion because his hatred for Konnan runs deep and he would never lower himself to align with him. Vamp said that he is loyal to Dorian because he has looked out for him in the past giving him work when his father Joaquin Roldan was against using him. Vamp said that AAA is forever his home and he wants the AAA that Antonio Pena created to live on forever not what Joaquin Roldan is pushing as his AAA.
