The Triplemania press conference was today where they announced that not only will the show be on PPV but it would be shot in HD as well with Konnan being part of the announcing crew also. El Tri which is a very famous Mexican blues rock band both in Mexico and the United States will perform on the show thanks partly to Heavy Metal’s connections supposedly. L.A. Par-K showed up unannounced and had a verbal confrontation of Dr. Wagner Jr. of all things to keep that feud alive and to take the heat off of the Battle of the Parkas. There are still some matches yet to be made and probably won’t be made until after the 5/19 TV taping in Actopan.


Taiji Ishimori

Taiji Ishimori is supposed to defend the AAA World Tag Titles with Takeshi Morishima on the Triplemania show which is 6/6 in Mexico City but there is one problem, that show takes place right in the middle of New Japan’s Best of the Super Juniors tournament which Ishimori will be a part of along with La Sombra. That is an off day so it is possible for him to come to Mexico for the show and go back but that would be quite the travel schedule.

4. Angel de Oro & Angel de Plata defeated Dragon Rojo & Sangre Azteca by DQ when the rudos ripped their masks off.
5. Relevos Increibles: La Mascara/Damian el Terrible/Ultimo Guerrero beat Brazo de Plata/Maximo/Asesino Negro by DQ when UG faked a foule by Maximo and they agreed to a singles match for next week. Porky & Asesino then agreed to have their hair match for next week as well. Porky worked this show even with the doctors telling him to rest a week due to his dislocated mandibule.
