CMLL announced yesterday that Polvora suffered a concussion last Sunday at Arena Coliseo after a tope by Delta hit him head first. Polvora will be out of action for a couple of weeks but promised revenge on Delta when he returns.

CMLL 8/2 – Arena Puebla
1. Sauron & Siki Osama beat Black Tiger & Stigma
2. Dalis la Caribena/Marcela/Silueta defeated Amapola/Yesca/Zeuxis
3. Fuego/Metro/Stuka Jr. beat Arkangel de la Muerte (subbing for Polvora)/Euforia/Virus
4. Blue Panther/Valiente/Volador Jr. defeated El Poder Mexica (Dragon Rojo/Misterioso II/Sangre Azteca)
5. Charly Manson/Hector Garza/Psicosis beat Brazo de Plata/Mistico/Shocker when Manson pinned Mistico with a little help from Tirantes who tripped up Mistico.

CMLL 8/3 – Arena Mexico
1. Horus & Trueno beat Cholo & Zayco
2. Guerrero Maya Jr./Metalico/Molotov defeated Durango Kid/Kid Tiger/Puma King with Puma getting stretchered out.
3. Diamante/Fabian el Gitano/Rush beat Los Cancerberos del Infierno (Cancerbero/Euforia/Raziel)
4. Charly Manson/Histeria/Universo Dos defeated Hijo del Fantasma/Maximo/Sagrado when Manson ripped off Fantasma’s mask and pinned him with Tirantes counting. Fantasma then challenged Manson to a singles match for next week and he accepted.
5. CMLL Trios Titles: La Mascara/Mascara Dorada/La Sombra beat Damian el Terrible/Hector Garza/Hijo del Texano to retain their titles. This had a lot going on as Tirantes was slow counting followed up by Tigre Hispano slow counting, then interference from La Comandante who was seconding the heels then more slow counting and a fast count by Hispano when Sombra had Garza pinned.

Herdez 8/1 – Arena Mexico (This was a sold show)
1. Lady Apache/Lluvia/Princea Blanca beat Amapola/Princesa Sugei/Mima Shimoda
2. Bam Bam/Electrico/Ultimo Dragoncito defeated Demus 3:16/Nitrito/Pierrothito
3. Damian el Terrible/Hijo del Texano/Los Sicarios del Infierno (Averno y Mephisto) beat La Mascara/Maximo/La Sombra/Toscano
4. Hector Garza/Jushin Thunder Liger/Negro Casas defeated Mistico/Shocker/Volador Jr.
5. Cuadrangular de Parejas por la Copa Herdez: Los Guerreros del Infierno (Rey Bucanero & Ultimo Guerrero) beat Rayo de Jalisco Jr. & Atlantis who had communication problems to win. Other teams: Brazo de Oro & Brazo de Plata and Mascara Ano Dos Mil & Universo Dos Mil

Independent 8/2 – Palenque de la Feria Expo Fresas de Irapuato drawing 5,000 fans

4. La Parka Jr. & Pimpinela Escarlata defeated Alex Koslov & L.A. Par-K

IWRG 8/1 – Arena Naucalpan
1. Alan Extreme beat Super Halcon Jr.
2. Comando Negro & Magia Negra defeated Eragon & Fly Star by DQ.
3. Nygma & Pasion Kristal beat Diva Salvaje & Miss Gaviota
4. IWRG Tag Titles: Hijo del Cien Caras & Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr. defeated Hijo del Pierroth & Hijo del Pirata Morgan to retain their titles.
5. Chico Che/Scorpio Jr./Veneno beat Gato Eveready/El Brazo/Electroshock by DQ when Brazo faked a foule by Scorp. Team AAA had issues here and Brazo accidentally hit Guapito who juiced. After the match, Scorp demanded a hair match with Brazo with the winner also getting Guapito as well.

Lucha Libre Azteca 8/1 – Arena Solidaridad
1. Potro Jr. & Tigre Universitario beat Gato Volador & Panthro
1. Fuego & Rey Cometa defeated Arkangel de la Muerte & Escandalo
2. Mascarita Dorada & Ultimo Dragoncito beat Demus 3:16 & Pierrothito
3. Sagrado & Stuka Jr. defeated Misterioso II & Virus
4. Blue Panther & La Sombra beat Damian el Terrible & Hijo del Texano by DQ when Texano ripped off Sombra’s mask.
5. 3 Way Dance por el Campeonato Azteca: Hector Garza defeated Ultimo Guerrero to win the title after Terrible ran out to foule UG after a ref bump. Garza eliminated Mistico earlier with a foule behind the ref’s back.
