IWL announced today that the first 100 fans that show up to Arena Lopez Mateos tomorrow night for their show will get in free. I hope there will be enough security. Speaking of IWL, CMLL has pulled Mr. Aguila from the show as well and his replacement will be Halloween.

CMLL 8/16 – Arena Puebla
1. Espiritu Maligno/Karissma/Mr. Rafaga beat Asturiano/Blue Center/Millenium
2. Arkangel de la Muerte/Dr. X/Nitro (subbing for Hooligan) defeated Angel Azteca Jr./Pegasso/Sensei
3. Delta/Rush/Sagrado beat Euforia/Misterioso II/Polvora
4. Mexican National Welterweight Title: Valiente defeated Dragon Rojo to retain his title and both guys got a standing ovation after the match.
5. Los Sicarios del Infierno (Averno y Mephisto)/Volador Jr. beat Rotoporky/Maximo/La Sombra when Volador ripped off Sombra’s mask and pinned him. The rudos would beat on Sombra some more afterwards until Sombra recovered and challenged Volador to a mask match but Volador said that he wouldn’t give the fans the chance to see that since they turned on him. Volador was said to have gotten great heat here.

5. Caballera contra Caballera: Nicho el Millionario beat Joe Lider – At one point, Nicho was stretchered out after being put through a table but he would come back to return the favor to Lider who lost and was shaved.
