NEWSCMLL Director Juan Manuel Mar aka Panico was asked about Mistico’s comments this week about the current booking situation in CMLL and Panico said that no one in CMLL agrees with what Mistico said but it was his right to say it. Panico said that Mistico shouldn’t complain because he is in the middle of a great run right now and his opinion of the independent guys is ridiculous because they were given the ball and they have run with it well. Panico said that Mistico is completely wrong about them trying to quiet the wrestlers as they can say what they want and he is also wrong about the promotion controlling wrestlers getting dates as it isn’t their problem that some promoters can’t pay their bills. Panico said that the bad economy has hit everyone hard and some promoters don’t want to take risks paying wrestlers so they either just use cheap local guys or just don’t promote period. Panico closed by saying that Mistico won’t receive any punishment for his statements since he can do that as he has freedom of speech.
Psicosis was also asked about Mistico’s recent comments about the independents and young guys getting opportunities they haven’t earned in his mind recently and he said that Mistico’s ego is out of this world right now. Psicosis said that he has been in CMLL since April and he has seen that the people that get the opportunities are ones that deserve it through hard work and that everyone in the promotion works hard not just certain ones. Psicosis said that his independent brethren just want to work and they bust their ass in the ring to get the chances they get so they are taking advantage of their opportunities. Psicosis did admit that he was suspended this week for being too violent using the stairs at Arena Mexico last week.
