Hijo del Solitario took “El Monarca” Javier Cruz’s hair last night at Arena Jalisco in Guadalajara in a match that he said afterwards was worthy of taking place at Arena Mexico.

Mini Abismo Negro had surgery on both of his knees recently with the right one being the most serious and he actually had to have the ACL replaced as well. There is no timetable for his return but he won’t be back until October/November at the earliest.

Ultimo Guerrero gave an interview with Reforma last Thursday where he was asked about Sin Cara leaving EMLL and he said that he didn’t know of any issues that he had with the promotion but he is gone now and that chapter in their rivalry is done now as he is moving on to other things although he would’ve loved to have taken his mask on his way out. UG went on to say that he wants to take the mask of a big name soon dropping names of Atlantis & Mr. Niebla which is interesting because Atlantis is his stablemate. UG said that there is a lot of new blood on the rise right now and he thinks that it is more important than ever than to take a mask from an established wrestler before one of the young guns beats him to it.

AAA 2/28 – Lienzo Charro Ignacio Leon Ornelas de Irapuato (TV taping)
1. Mascarita Divina/Mini Charly Manson/Octagoncito beat Mini Chessman/Mini Histeria/Mini Psicosis
2. Best of 5 Series – Match 2 – Street Fight: Heavy Metal defeated Electroshock with help from Silver Kain & Ultimo Gladiador to even up the series. The attack continued after the match also as Heavy has aligned with Los Maniacos.
3. Cuervo & Ozz battled Damian 666 & Zorro when Charly Manson/Escoria/Tabu all interfered attacking and bloodying Zorro. There was someone in Zorro’s old iron mask attire that came out early in the match to distract Zorro. Bestia 666 & Jennifer Blake all got involved trying to help the rudos before the Bizarros ran out. Charly would pull out the iron mask and put it on Zorro’s head and challenged him for the title saying that his past is coming back to haunt him and he would make him relive those fears.
4. Rey de Reyes – Grupo C: L.A. Par-K beat Dr. Wagner Jr. after Doc tried to attack Damian 666 who had just hit Par-K with a steel chair. Order of Elimination: Halloween/Nicho el Millionario/Dr. Wagner Jr.
5. Jack Evans/Extreme Tiger/La Parka Jr. defeated Los Bizarros (Charly Manson/Cibernetico/Escoria/Tabu) as this was basically a handicap match with the Bizarros all getting involved which even provoked a grandmother to try to attack Charly & Tabu on the floor with a flip flop. Konnan & La Sociedad ran out afte the match to attack but the AAA locker room would come out along with Joaquin Roldan who told Konnan that tonight was the first night of AAA taking back their promotion. Roldan then promised a big surprise for La Sociedad at Rey de Reyes.

CMLL 2/27 – Arena Coliseo de Guadalajara
1. Camorra & Durango Kid beat El Divino & Metatron
2. Electrico/Meteoro/Ultimo Dragoncito defeated Pequeno Olimpico/Pequeno Violencia/Pierrothito
3. Occidental Welterweight Title: Metal Blanco beat Inquisidor to retain his title.
4. Felino & Negro Casas defeated Hector Garza & Hijo del Texano
5. Damian el Terrible beat Rey Bucanero – Texano helped Damian early but was kicked out and Zacarias tried to attack Terrible but failed.
