Mascara Sagrada stated yesterday that he thinks it is a shame that lucha libre has become so Americanized and thinks that there should be a political involvement in stopping the continuation of exporting American wrestlers and the style. Sagrada said that the quality of shows have been really bad since this craze started and it has driven away the true fans of lucha libre while bringing in a newer fan that doesn’t respect tradition. Sagrada also brought up the need for less television saying that with so much being televised these days it hurts the live attendances because fans can just wait for the matches to show up on their TV. Sagrada said that the promoters not defending true lucha libre is a disgrace and shows no national pride because they value foreigners over home grown talent.

The next big AAA show Heroes Inmortales IV will be held at Arena Monterrey on 10/8.
