CMLL announced yesterday that they would be holding the 3rd annual Torneo por la Copa Bobby Bonales starting on 7/1 at Arena Mexico. Blue Panther & Negro Casas were the previous winners.
Kid Tiger announced yesterday that he is now known as Tiger as he is a man now.
La Mascara stated yesterday that the Distrito Federal Box y Lucha Commission wanted to stop his mask match against Averno last Friday night at Arena Mexico due to him losing so much blood but he insisted the match continue. Mascara said that stopping the match would’ve been a ripoff for the fans and he overcame the odds to win.
Some good news regarding CMLL referee Rafa el Maya who has resumed his duties at his other job of being a taxi driver after his heart surgery. He is still waiting on confirmation for a return to the wrestling ring but driving his cab will make him happy for now.

4. Lighting Match: Polvora defeated Valiente
5. La Guerra Continua – Finals: Atlantis/Delta/Guerrero Maya Jr. beat Negro Casas/Diamante/Hijo del Signo with Diamante being stretchered out afterwards.
6. La Avalancha Alvarado (Brazo de Plata/La Mascara/Maximo) defeated Averno/Dragon Rojo/Ultimo Guerrero by DQ.
