El Fantasma cleared Rafael el Maya to return to his job as a referee a couple of weeks ago and he has been working some smaller shows until CMLL feels he is ready to return to them full-time.

78 years ago today Salvador Lutteroth founded Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre and the sport of lucha libre would never be the same.

CMLL 9/18 – Arena Coliseo de Guadalajara
1. Evola beat Divino
2. Pequeno Violencia & Pierrothito defeated Astral & Ultimo Dragoncito
3. Puma King/Rafaga/Tiger beat Pegasso/Rey Cometa/Sensei but Puma & Tiger had problems working together.
4. Occidental Lt. Heavyweight Title: Shigeo Okumura defeated El Gallo to win the title and Gallo was stretchered out after a brainbuster.
5. La Triada del Terror (Averno/Ephesto/Mephisto) beat Brazo de Plata/Mascara Dorada/Maximo with Mephisto ripping off Dorada’s mask and pinning him. Mephisto then wanted a shot at Dorada’s CMLL Welterweight Title afterwards.

CMLL 9/20 – Arena Mexico
1. Camaleon & Metatron beat Artillero & Camorra but Camaleon had to be stretchered out.
2. Demus 3:16/Nitrito/Pequeno Olimpico defeated Astral/Electrico/Ultimo Dragoncito
3. Raziel/Virus/Nobuo Yoshihashi beat Pegasso/Rey Cometa/Sagrado
4. Blue Panther/Hector Garza/Jushin Thunder Liger defeated La Fuerza TRT (Damian el Terrible/Hijo del Texano/Rey Bucanero) by DQ when Rey fouled Garza.
5. Mexican National Trios Titles: Olimpico/Psicosis/Volador Jr. beat Angel de Oro/Diamante/Rush after a Volador backcracker on Rush to win the titles.
