NEWS
Ari “El Gato” Romero who was one of the big local stars in the Northern part of Mexico (Juarez, Monterrey, Nuevo Laredo) and worked for the major promotions as well as Red Bastien’s WIN in 1989-90 passed away on Sunday at the age of 62 after going into cardiac arrest due to complications from cancer. My dear friend Alfredo Esparza did a great writeup on Ari on Lucha World and it is featured here.

5. La Mascara/Shocker/Volador Jr. beat La Peste Negra (Felino/Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla) with Negro having some issues with Niebla here.
