EMLL held one of their venerable press conferences yesterday where they announced some noteworthy news such as the main event for the Infierno en el Ring show at Arena Mexico where these men will put their hair on the line in a steel cage match.

It was announced that Rush would be out of action for at least 3 months due to his broken leg which he had surgery on today and would definitely be missing the FantasticaMania tour of Japan in January.

Rush’s brother Mistico II showed up who is recovering from his own broken leg which he suffered in May and he vacated his CMLL Welterweight Title saying that he isn’t ready to return to action yet and the title has been dormant long enough so there will be a tournament held to determine a new champion but he definitely wants a shot when he does return. It was later announced on CMLL Informa that these men will be part of the tournament

Blue Panther’s sons then came out and announced that they were changing their names as well as their ring attire as Cachorro will now be known as The Panther while Black Panther has become Blue Panther Jr.

Arena Coliseo will be closed from 12/14 to 1/11 and all the Sunday events will take place at Arena Mexico.
