NOTICIASOctagon told TV Notas today that AAA has sent him legal notice to cease and desist using the Octagon name but he is going to fight back with his own legal action saying that he was wrongfully dismissed from the promotion saying that he was unfairly treated after working in the promotion for 22 years. Octagon said that he would be holding a press conference soon to go more in-depth with his demands from AAA and how he wants to keep his name. Octagon said that working for Antonio Pena was a joy and that he loved him as a friend but after he died he noticed that his status in the company started to change. Octagon said that the wrestlers these days are basically emplyoees and not treated as stars like they should be. Octagon then talked about his current situation saying that he loves being an independent as he can work with whoever wants to book him. What is interesting here is that the original story was that Octagon & AAA parted on mutual terms and that he was able to use his name and likeness while working on the independent scene.
