NEWSLady Apache has been missing from shows lately and the reason why has been confirmed as she announced a couple of days ago that she is pregnant. Her husband is Electroshock for those of you that don’t know.
Mistico who is very outspoken proved that again yesterday by saying that he wants no part of the big cage match at the 77th Anniversary Show at Arena Mexico because he wants to win masks the right way. Mistico said that he would love to win the masks of Atlantis, Jushin Thunder Liger, Mr. Niebla, & Ultmo Guerrero but not in a match with 14 man that is a total cluster. Mistico said that these are 14 important masks but the fans won’t be able to focus on everything at one time so it taints the importance of a mask match. Mistico went on to say that a mask match should be the culmination of a great rivalry that has been fought for a long time not a bunch of guys trying to climb out of a cage. Mistico said that he knows that he has a big mouth but he isn’t afraid to tell the truth and the truth hurts so he gets in trouble at times for what he says but he doesn’t care because he knows who he is and the fans know who he is so he has to be honest. Mistico talked about again how he doesn’t care if fans boo or cheer him because it all is a reaction and they pay to see him which is the most important part to him. Mistico said that getting no attention is a bad thing and there are plenty of wrestlers that get that which is their problem because they don’t strive for the attention. Mistico then said that he hopes that all of his rivals leave the cage with their masks so he can take them in singles matches when it actually matters. Mistico then was asked about La Sombra & Jushin Thunder Liger and he said that he definitely wants Liger to return next year for the Universal Title tournament because next time he would be a part of it and he wants to take Liger’s title directly. Mistico went on to say that Sombra really impressed him and proved to him that he is ready to be a top star and he would help him in any way he can because he is appreciative of his advice unlike Volador Jr. who he called a farce. Mistico said that Volador strives to be like him and couldn’t so he wants to hang with the rudos now which is what he himself did months ago so he is copying him even more. Mistico said that he is coming for Volador and he would form a new Super Sky Team to take care of Volador and his allies.

Konnan showed up after the match on crutches and said that Billy Boy & Decnis would take his place in the main event then demanded that Los Maniacos make a decision on whether they are Legion members or not.
2. Argenis/Crazy Boy/El Relampago defeated Los Metrosexuales (Billy Boy/El Brazo/Decnis) – Brazo was pinned and after the match was offered a spot in the Militia by Decnis but he declined. Brazo was then beaten down then Hilario tried to make the save but he was beaten down too so the tecnicos returned to make the save.
3. Alan y Chris Stone beat Elegido & Heavy Metal – Electroshock came out and used Metal’s guitar on both tecnicos before leaving.

AAA Tag Titles: Silver Kain & Ultimo Gladiador defeated Hijo del Cien Caras & Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr. to retain their titles. The Militia showed up here and attacked Hijo del Cien which distracted Hijo del Tirantes enough for SK to use a Martinete on MA2K Jr. to win. Veneno and the Oficiales ran off the rudos afterwards.

Relevos Increibles: “Strongman” Jon Anderson/Atlantis/Ultimo Guerrero beat Rotoporky (subbing for Rayo de Jalisco Jr.)/Histeria/Psicosis by DQ when the Vipers ripped off the Guerreros masks for the DQ.
6. Mascara Dorada/Mistico/La Sombra defeated Jushin Thunder Liger/Mr. Niebla/Volador Jr. by DQ when Volador ripped off Mistico’s mask then Sombra’s mask for good measure.
