AAA Executive Vice-President Dorian Roldan announced over the weekend that Triplemania will feature TNA talent again this year and they would be bringing in guys on the tapings before TM also.
CMLL announced over the weekend that they will be holding a special benefit show on 5/21 at Arena Lopez Mateos for Rey Escorpion’s son who is having some serious health issues and the family needs money for the surgery.
Perro Aguayo Jr. had a press conference last Friday where he talked about his health issues of the past few weeks and said that he actually thought it was just a broken rib and it was only when he went to the hospital that he was told he had a cancerous tumor. Perrito said that the surgery was done expertly by his doctors and they told him that he should have a full recovery but he must use a girdle when he trains and wrestles plus should change his diet to go along with his chemotherapy. Perrito also contradicted the rumors that his operation was a lie and even showed his surgical scar to dispel them. He said that he actually was in the hospital and not in rehab for drug abuse like was being talked about. Perrito said that he should be back in the ring very soon and hopes his doctors will release him in the next few weeks. Perrito then talked about business saying that he would put his hair on the line against anyone especially Dr. Wagner Jr. and no matter where or when he would always keep his hair but he noted that his hair was shorter here and it took health problems to take part of his hair not a wrestler. He then closed by thanking all the wrestlers and fans for their prayers and support throughout his dilemma.
A little editorial here but call me a cynic but something still just doesn’t seem right here. I hope that everything is on the up and up but I just don’t know. This miraculous recovery is just odd.
Ultimo Dragon announced over the weekend that the annual Dragonmania show at Arena Mexico will take place on 5/14.

1. Jennifer Blake/La Hechicera/Sexy Star beat Fabi y Mari Apache/Lolita
2. AAA Minis Title: Mini Psicosis defeated Octagoncito to win the title.
3. Electroshock/Jack Evans/Extreme Tiger beat Chessman/Los Maniacos (Silver Kain & Ultimo Gladiador)
4. Cuervo/Drago/Ozz defeated Los Bizarros (Billy el Malo/Cibernetico/Escoria) – Ciber said after the match that Parka would be seeing pain very soon.
5. Joe Lider/El Mesias/La Parka Jr. beat Damian 666/Halloween/L.A. Par-K who had Mesias set up for a powerbomb through wood on top of chairs but Zorro (who was supposed to be in this match but Damian replaced him) came out on the stage and distracted Par-K talking about a future AAA Mega Heavyweight Title shot so Mesias turned the tables and put Par-K through the wood. Bizarros then came out to brawl with the tecnicos before being chased off.

1. Mascarita Divina/Mini Charly Manson/Octagoncito beat Mini Chessman/Mini Histeria/Mini Psicosis
2. Aero Star/Elegido/Laredo Kid defeated Alan Stone/Decnis/Super Fly
3. Los Bizarros (Billy el Malo/Cibernetico/Escoria) beat The Black Family (Cuervo/Espiritu/Ozz) and destroyed them. Ciber then vowed more revenge on Parka who supposedly destroyed his motorcycle.
4. The Psycho Circus (Monster Clown/Murder Clown/Psycho Clown) defeated Los Perros del Mal (Damian 666/Halloween/X-Fly) by DQ when Perro Aguayo Jr. & Bestia 666 interfered and put dog food in their face. Perrito then demanded a meeting with Dorian Roldan after the match saying that he wants Dr. Wagner Jr.’s mask and said that he doesn’t feel like he needs an appointment.
5. Heavy Metal/El Mesias/Nicho el Millionario beat Chessman/Hijo del Lizmark (subbing for Zorro)/L.A. Par-K who had Mesias ready to defeat again but this time the Iron Masked Zorro showed up and used the kendo stick on him allowing Mesias to win again. Par-K was furious after the match and blamed Konnan who said he had nothing to do with it but Par-K punched and insulted him anyway.

6. La Mascara/Rush/La Sombra defeated Averno/Negro Casas/Mr. Niebla with Mascara going over Averno. Averno threw his mask at Mascara and tried to get Tirantes to DQ him but Tirantes kept the match going leading to the finish.

Hijo del Pirata accidentally hit the referee so that allowed Pirata to foule Trauma I for the win. Negro Navarro who was already eliminated like Pirata then came in and told the referee what happened but it was all for naught.
